Balian Ceramics | Rebranding & Exhibition Design

In collaboration with Proper Company, the century-old Balian Family of Jerusalem, renowned for their hand-painted ceramics since 1922, underwent a thoughtful rebrand. As one of the oldest businesses in Jerusalem, preserving their Armenian heritage while modernizing their visual identity was a key challenge.

The rebranding effort was a collaborative process, ensuring that the new identity honored the family’s artistic legacy while providing a cohesive and contemporary brand system. Following the rebrand, the Balian Family showcased their craftsmanship and history in a special exhibition in Etchmiadzin. The exhibition design was developed in line with the new brand identity, featuring large-scale displays that presented their story in a museum-style format, allowing visitors to experience the artistry and heritage behind Balian ceramics.
